Here's the story...

My name is Jamie. I'm 22. And on July 23rd I get to marry my best friend... ok, I know that's totally cliche, but whatever. I'm super excited!! :) I've tried blogging before and it hasn't worked out, but I really really want it to. So here goes round 2, or maybe 3. I think I usually put too much thought into it, like I'm trying to be profound or something, but I'm gonna try to just have fun with it this time. Derek (that's my fiance) really wants me to blog and Anna (that's my girl best friend... not to be confused with the best friend that I'm marrying) thinks I should too... so we'll see how it works out. Cross your fingers. And your toes.

I've had trouble deciding what to blog about, but I think I've settled on my personal domestic adventures. I'm currently wedding planning, so that will be fun to share. I'm about to get married, so that's sure to lead to a lot of interesting stories. And I love being crafty. Oh, I am also a FACS teacher, at least I will be if I find a teaching job, so I have a wealth of Family and Consumer Sciences knowledge that is dying to be shared. (in other words I just graduated and currently feel like my education is going to waste...) Anywho, I hope you'll join me on this adventure, I'm so excited about it! AND I would love your advice, especially if you've been around this Mrs. block a few times (by that I mean you've been married for a few years, NOT a few times... if you've been married a few times I don't think I want your advice-- sorry.)
